Good Points

I was a bit apprehensive as my old laptop was XP which I considered the best. However, once I got used to the layou of Windows 7, it was simplicity itself and so responsive with a host of features. The battery life is superb as I don't have to worry about how much time I've left. A very light and portable machine that is suitaqble for every day use, in the home, or out and about.

Bad Points

The one really annoying feature is the cursor. It sometimes drifts all over the screen, or disappears then reappears in the opposite corner....AARGH...

Another annoyance is the touchpad. I sometimes find it difficult to know if I'm touching the pad or the machine as there is virtually no definition to indicate, when touching, where the touchpad is.

+ Battery life is excellent,over three hours and the battery indicator was still showing 15%.
Screen display is sharp and bright.
Keyboard operation has a nice "slick" feel.
Windows 7, performance especially boot up time is a lot better than Vista.

- Keyboard layout is different to standard and takes a little to get used to.
Mouse buttons are a little stiff.
No HDMI or component video output.
Could do with 2Gb of memory, but the 1Gb that is fitted still allows adequate performance.

+ everything is set up and ready to go. The value for money is amazing, and I have not been disappointed at all. Its light and easy to transport. Wish I had seen it beofre.

well I'm a teenager and I know a lot about computers! this is fast and I love the bulleten board thing on this, it helps me remember my homework! but its fast and the 4 GB RAM makes me love it!
I'm going to put the sims 3 on this, I think it should work fantastic. this laptop is every teens dream! Thank you amazon! XD

I don't own one myself however a mate has bought one and I have used his. First the battery power is a bit disappointing as you only get about 3-4 hours use out of it but I do love the design it feels sturdy and I like the seperate numerical keypad, really handy. Seems very fast and loaded with lots of applications that are very useful. The face recognition is a bit of a waste of time and you may as well log in with just a password. It is fun when you first use it but the novelty wears off very quickly and it becomes frustratng.
A good compromise with all the power anyone should need. It is an impressive machine with the promise of years of reliability ahead. It might even outlive Windows 7. Very clear screen. Responsive. It was extremely easy to set up on my mates wireless newtwork including email address transfers - that was all really simple. However it only has two usb slots and for some thats fine but for me I have alot of things connected to my laptop.
It has an SD card reader and built in webcam. Ive got some other specs that I've put below if you need them.. Overall its good value for money. As they say, you get what you pay for and I would recomend this for everyday use.
